Terms & Conditions
It is very important that all passengers/clients read the “Terms & Conditions” set out below, as they form the basis for acceptance of all bookings:
Booking Conditions:
Please read these booking conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings accepted by Give Me Football Pty. Ltd. trading as Give Me Travel. Give Me Travel and Give Me Football are not transport, tour, event or accommodation providers. They only act as an agent for those service providers. You should obtain and read the applicable terms and conditions of each such service provider.
Bookings:
Contact Give Me Football, Give Me Travel or any licensed travel agency that is accredited or affiliated with Give Me Travel/Give Me Football.
A Give Me Travel/Give Me Football booking consist of airfares, transfers, accommodation and events tickets. A booking MUST include all these components, that is, Give Me Travel/Give Me Football sells packages as a whole – not tickets only or a partial packages.
Please note that all booking requests are subject to availability and a booking form or email containing all required information as per the booking form must be fully completed and signed agreeing to all terms and conditions.
Price and Itinerary Changes:
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and may vary due to peak demand periods, changes in surcharges, fees, taxes or currency fluctuations. Please note that prices of all packages may change at anytime before your departure should any new taxes, fees or charges be introduced or if any existing taxes, fees or charges are varied, even after you have paid all or part of the quoted package price.
If we have to change any part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, for example if an airline changes its schedules or if a hotelier overbooks or if there are any changes in applicable charges, fees or taxes we will notify you. If any such changes result in your package costing more or otherwise being materially different, then you may cancel the package and we will refund any monies already paid less any charges imposed by suppliers and/or cancellation fees.
Deposits and Final Payments:
In order to secure a booking a non-refundable and non-transferable security deposit of $500.00 per person must be paid at time of booking. Bookings made within 60 days of departure must be paid in full at time of booking.
Full payment for your package is required 60 days prior to departure or by sale end date or payment deadline specified in individual package conditions, whichever is earliest. If for any reason your balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges. A deposit holds services requested but does not guarantee prices.
Payment by credit or debit card:
All package prices shown are for payment by electronic funds transfer, cash or cheque (cheques made payable to Give Me Travel). Payment by credit or debit cards will incur the following fees. Visa & MasterCard - additional 3% on final package price. American Express – additional 4% on final package price.
Cancellations:
If you cancel or terminate your package:-
60 days or more before your departure: There is no refund of your deposit;
59-46 days prior to your departure: There is no refund of your deposit plus you forfeit 50% of your final payment and any cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels and ground operators;
Within 45 days prior to departure: There is no refund of any monies paid.
Passenger:
A passenger is a person who agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in this document.
Alterations: Alterations to your package which require a reissue of documents will incur a fee of $110.00 per person per booking charged by Give Me Travel and Give Me Football in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines – this additional amount is to be paid within 24 hours of being provided with the additional cost. A document reissue means an alteration to an existing booking and not a transfer to another package when cancellation fees may apply.
Refunds:
To the extent permitted by law, no refund is available for cancellations after the package has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals, transfers, tickets or any other service not utilized.
Product descriptions:
Descriptions featured or photographs provided are based on current international hotel guides and information provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included may change at any time. Give Me Travel and Give Me Football make no specific representation as to the standard, class or description of accommodation or services provided by third parties.
Hotel Information:
Whilst Give Me Travel and Give Me Football make every effort to ensure accuracy in Hotel information and descriptions, we are reliant on the suppliers and hotels providing us with accurate data. Since hotels are constantly changing their facilities and services, we cannot be (and are not) liable for any act or omission to act by any hotel or apartment operator. If any feature is of critical importance to your package it is your responsibility to ask Give Me Travel and Give Me Football to check whether such feature will be available at the time of occupancy at the given hotel.
Health and immigration:
You are responsible for all visa, passport, immigration, quarantine, customs, health and other requirements of the countries visited or transited. A valid passport (with at least six months validity at time of departure) must be carried by each person. Give Me Travel and Give Me Football are not responsible for your failure to ensure that you comply with these requirements.
Costs not included in your package:
Costs of visas, passports, meals other than those specified in the package, excess baggage charges, airport taxes, fuel and security taxes, travel insurance, personal items such as phone calls, laundry, hotel mini bar and the like and anything not specifically included in the package is at your expense.
Events beyond our control:
Give Me Travel and Give Me Football does not accept liability whatsoever for injury, damages, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconveniences caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control, including but not limited to war, civil disturbances, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. Give Me Travel & Give Me Football shall also not be responsible to any person who is refused entry into any country or hotel or boarding of flights, coaches, trains, cars or the like due to inappropriate behaviour or intoxication.
In any such instance Give Me Travel and Give Me Football shall not be responsible for any such persons conduct and any such persons shall not be entitled to any financial compensation or indemnity from Give Me Travel or Give Me Football for any financial loss caused to any such persons howsoever occasioned.
Travel Insurance:
It is highly recommended that at the time of booking you consider purchasing travel insurance at your cost.
Baggage:
Please check your travel documents for applicable baggage allowances.
Air Travel:
Air Travel is subject to the conditions and limitations of liability set out in the conditions of carriage of the airline. A number of airlines can be used in conjunction with your package.
Destination passenger enquiries:
Give Me Travel and Give Me Football make no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. You should obtain travel advice, including from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. (www.smartraveller.gov.au)
Law of Contract:
These booking conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and the parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Give Me Football Pty. Ltd. trading as Give Me Travel holds a Travel Agents Licence Number – Licence No. 32944, is a member of the Travel Compensation Fund.
Obligations:
Give Me Travel and Give Me Football are the “Operators” who provide the service of selling packages, tours and ancillary services such as ticketing, complete packages and tour arrangements. As operators we do not provide the transport, accommodation, meals or other facilities described on our websites and brochures (collectively known as the “services”). These services are provided by the transport providers, the hoteliers or other service providers as principal.
